Young Tigers take their next steps…

Two of our up and coming players are set to appear in the Vline Cup Carnival April 11-14. James Hose and Leighham Elzinga will step out for the Under 16 Geelong Falcons squad. They will play the Great Western Rebels and North East Boarder over the next 2 days.

The V/Line Cup is Victoria's premier under 15s championship competition for country boys and girls footballers.

The competition has a rich history dating back to 1949 when it was first won by Goulburn Valley, with the carnival focused on developing the best football talent in regional Victoria. The V/Line Cup was subsequently awarded to the boys and girls teams who best displayed leadership, teamwork, growth and development.

The committee, players and supporters of the Bannockburn Football Netball club wish James and Leighham all the very best for the next 2 days and are very proud of the commitment these boys are showing to their football.
