Season 2022 leaders

With the 2022 season just around the corner, focus has turned to who will lead our senior football teams this year.

After a team vote, the following players have been named in this years leadership team.

Captain - Daniel Measures

Vice Captain - Connor Jervies

Vice Captain - Tristan Battaglia

Leadership team - Hayden Spiller, Billy Ritchie & Kieran Fulton

Football Operations Manager, Zach Hickleton had this to say about the selected group.

“Daniel Measures, a GFL and BFL teams of the decade member. Brilliant footballer and great leader.

Connor Jervies - previous captain at a young age, exciting footballer and leads on field vocally like no one else.

Tristan’s Battaglia - Absolute freak and class, cares for his teammates and will be a great vice captain.

Kieran Fulton - Has set training standards this year and leads by example. Will have a massive year and will drag people along with him.

Hayden Spiller - Young gun, trains as good as anyone and will be a great learning curve being a leader at such a young age.

Billy Ritchie - one of the most lively players in the team, elite by foot and will lead with empathy.

The group will drive standards and culture, including respect for the club and it’s people as well as junior development.”
